Black Cat Vol. 1: Grand Theft Marvel by Jed MacKay

3.75

I thought this was a really fun book. Felicia and her crew seem like they will be great characters to read about, and their loyalty to each other really transcends the phrase "No honour among thieves". We'll see if that holds up in subsequent volumes, but they've currently got great chemistry. Within this volume, we see Felicia try to steal documents that seem pretty unrelated, but there is an ultimate goal in mind that we'll have to wait to see if it can come to fruition. Some of these items she needs to steal belong to Dr. Strange and to the Fantastic Four and things definitely do not go according to plan when she is in their domains.
I wanted to call attention to the artwork, specifically. There's such great detail going into this series, and some of Felicia's facial expressions felt very real. It definitely added to my enjoyment of the volume. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this and will definitely check out volume 2 once I can spare some money.
