I was excited to listen to The Girl Who Came Home by Hazel Gaynor, as I love all things Titanic. This story incorporates the true life travelers from a poor county in Ireland, looking for a better way of life. Fourteen boarded the ship, but only three survived. I particularly enjoyed the dual timelines of Maggie in 1912, and Grace in 1982. The story looks at the traumatic event through the eyes of the third class travelers instead of the first class travelers. I enjoyed it.
