Rich Dad, Poor Dad
by Robert T. Kiyosaki
Interesting read. I definitely think financial literacy is so overlooked in the educational system but am skeptical of some parts of the book. Mindset is vital and I do think that a lot of the advice is good, but am considering the impact of some of these "good investments." Are they most likely at the expense of someone else? Also need to read more up to see where I fall on the principles of capitalism. Money can always be made but how should it be used? There are many reasons why not everyone can follow the same steps and get the same results. Still, we do need to learn about money from a much earlier age, invest in our education in a more practical sense, and overcome our doubts to take risks that will actually bring some profits. It is so important to understand how money works and how things that are considered assets are really liabilities.
