The Appeal by Janice Hallett

4.0

This was a super fun, slow burn mystery that really dug into character development and relied on the small details. I have many tabs and notes in this book and found myself going back to reread parts that held clues. I love it when books follow a different format to tell the story; this one using emails, texts, and various articles to tell the story. I also loved that this book had strategic chapters that broke down where the investigation was to help the reader stay on top of the case. Super fun!
