I do understand why this book has the hype it does but, in saying that, I also felt that the book in its entirety fell a little flat for me.
I think the idea of the story has a lot of potential but the 2 reveals didn’t really land with me and felt rushed.
I felt that there was some sort of page goal, if you will, and the author had all these ideas and focus on the reveals but didn’t do much leading up to them or after them.
It just felt a little predictable to me and I probably wouldn’t recommend it if someone were to ask.
