A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles

5.0

I think this gets five stars. I loved the world of the Metropol and got totally immersed in it. I would have read hundreds more pages of this frankly, time jumps always leave me feeling a little unsatisfied since I always love more story, but I think objectively these were very well paced. This book was fun and interesting and lush and full of recurring characters and threads and in character footnotes(!). And it’s about what makes life worth living and I love that (the honey made me cry).
