Beyond the Point by Damien Boyd

Nick Dixon is back and he's trying to figure out who murdered a woman on a construction site for a nuclear power plant.  He finds out that her mother is missing and that there was a great deal of blood at her mother's home.  This again pits Nick against his nemesis Simon Chard.  There is quite a bit of drama and we get to see Nick in a more personal situation.   Jane was not really involved in the case but provided Nick with support when he needed it most.  They are such a wonderful couple.  The case was solved though Nick had to work against the clock because his superiors were under great pressure.  Another really solid entry in this series which I highly recommend.
