Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

Did not finish book. Stopped at 49%.

Y'all. I just could NOT get past the miscommunication. I ended up getting to halfway through but I could not get into it. It was sooooo much slower than Fourth Wing. Fourth Wing was a fun read, but this was not fun at all to me. I caught myself dreading picking it back up. Maybe I'll pick it back up at some point but I think I'm done with the Yarros hype after this flop.
