Library Wars: Love & War, Vol. 1 by Kiiro Yumi

3.0

This was a fun, quick read and I do really like the premise of libraries and book censorship as the source of conflict (as someone studying for an MLIS right now, how could I not, right?). Some of the character interactions were entertaining, though yes, pretty predictable - unless future volumes end up seriously throwing me off here, I've read enough manga to already know who the endgame couple will be after reading the first three pages. I suppose that doesn't mean I can't enjoy some of the journey along the way! It so far has a lot of the trappings of what you expect out of current dystopian YA work, but I'm invested enough to give a few more volumes a try to see what else happens.
