A Storm of Swords: Steel and Snow by George R.R. Martin

Review: Well, this one took me a lot longer to finish than the first two but it is still one of the most captivating series I have read in a long time. There are certain characters p.o.v that I am not hugely fond of like Davos, while I like his character immensely I find the Storm's End chapters to be lacking in anything worth saying. The addition of Jamie's P.O.V was greatly receieved I absolutely love his character now, it really added a much needed third dimension to his character and I must admit while Cersei is quite a bitch I do love their relationship, incesty as it is.

Tyrion and Arya are still my favourite character's along with the Hound, I really wish he had a p.o.v at some point and I can't wait to start on the next one. I like to pace myself with them because no matter how long a break I take I can just easily fall back into their world whenever I feel like it. There seems to be no end to the twists and turns and as I have said before George R.R Martin is just such a skilled writer especially in his character development. I can't believe how many character's there are in this whole world but there is not a single one that feels two dimensional or lacking at all.

I could go on and on but I will just end by saying everyone should read this series. There is something in it for everyone and the characters will stay with you long after you finish the last page.
