Pop Song: Adventures in Art & Intimacy by Larissa Pham

Did not finish book.
Not a work I was really able to connect with. The easy answer is probably that visual art is so deeply embedded into each and every essay, with ruminations of art that deeply inspire or impact her, or played a role in certain parts of her life. And I famously Don’t Get Art. I read about 2/3 of this and found it easier to engage with some of the more straight forward narratives that were more deeply rooted in place - Haunted, On Being Alone- and appreciated the path she takes us on in Body of Work.
