This book was one wild ride from start to finish and I enjoyed the book it was very much something that I didn't expect. Did It Hurt? Especially with what happens at the end, Sawyer finally gets her truth out. I liked the dynamic between Enzo and Sawyer, they were very much enemies to lovers. They wanted to hate and push one another away but couldn't because they were stuck on the island and couldn't stay away from one another. This book was also a thriller because of the whole thing at the lighthouse and how it gets darker and darker as the story progresses. The whole story had me double-taking and double-reading because of how suspicious the old man was from the very beginning.

It was difficult for me to put the book down because I wanted to know the real story behind the whole light tower and the family that had resided there at the time. The book had me so shocked at the end that I honestly didn't know what to do right after, I was speechless from start to finish. For the spice scenes, I would give a 3
