Good Girl, Bad Blood is the sequel to Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and follows Pip and Ravi as they investigate a new mystery, a missing person. Connor’s brother, Jamie, has disappeared, and his dad isn’t helping, and the police aren’t helping, so it’s up to Pip to find him. I thought this book was even better than the last one, I was hooked, it was full of twists, it was all connected which made me realise what a genius Holly Jackson is. I recommend this book because it’s a nice mixture of young adult and mystery. It works for me because I don’t read much mystery or crime novels but I do read young adult fiction, so it’s a good place to start. I can’t wait to see what mystery Pip uncovers next. ‘She hadn’t almost lost herself, maybe she’d actually been meeting herself for the very first time.’
