this book is just so bad i had to drag myself bleeding all the way to the end. and when i got there it wasn't even relief that i had finished it, but sheer anger for making myself lose so much time.
bland characters, calling them two-dimensional would be a compliment here, really. entirely unrelatable; felt too stiff, too square for any relationship to be natural in the slightest. the overall idea was good and could've been fun, maybe if turned into a movie the story stands a change of being savaged. highly unlikely though.
poor execution from beginning to end. important issues being thrown to try and make complexity out of these characters and it just ended up being borderline offensive to the issues at hand.
