I really love this series! It's such a fun story involving going back in time in Scotland. It's so much fun getting to read about how things used to work. 
My favorite character is definitely Jamie Frazier. He's just so authentic and hilarious. He honestly reminds me of a giant puppy learning how to be a dog. 
Now, I will give some trigger warnings for this book. There is rape, gore, abuse, and violence. 
Also, I gave the book only 4 stars because there are quite a few sex scenes. The genre would be Fantasy and Historical Fiction.
