A Soul To Touch by Opal Reyne

4.0

I read the previous two books and fell in love with the characters and the world. Opal is one of my favorite authors and she never ceases to amaze me and that did not change with A Soul to Touch. If you haven't read the books or even just this one, do it. Do it now.

Mayumi and Faunus were such a cute pairing. Both were guarded and prideful. If I'm being honest, Mayumi did get on my nerves but I still loved and related to her, also with Faunus, especially with his PTSD. I felt that with all the trauma that they had both experienced, they found each other at the right time.
I know this technically isn't a fated mate's story, but for these two, that's how it felt. I loved how perfect they were for each other and how their relationship helped them grow. Opal truly knows how to write relationships and everything that comes with them.

I gave the book 4 stars only because there were times when I was skimming to get through it but It is not in any way a deterrent for me.
Overall, this book and the series are worth every minute.
