Elias and Charlotte were together 15 years ago but after finding out the reason they got together wasn’t what she thought they break up and try to keep their lives separate of each other until they are forced to work on a project together.

Elias got married, had a kiddie and then became a widow. Charlotte is dealing with the loss of both of her parents. The pacing of the relationship after they rekindle is fast. I think they could have developed out the characters more but they go through grief, healing from loss, falling in love, and second chance. This is the third and final book in the series I think it would be beneficial to read the previous books before starting this one.

Thank you to love notes pr and Kelsey Schulz for the arc in exchange for an honest review.
