dang, I can't not like a space book. I do wish this book focused on more space, though.
I also found the quickness of the romance very off-putting, as it seems to start at such a deep level with just one glance (or by reading a celebrity interview). I also found the development of the friendship back in New York unbelievable, since the main character does not treat that friend well and doesn't do much to win her back, and yet she appears for all the pivotal emotional support scenes.
despite some flaws, I'll take a gays near space book that's set in modern day, and I liked some of the commentary on social media / reality TV shows.
