I loved the first three books in the Shatter Me Series so much that I knew I was going to be a bit taken back by this next one. Book three was everything to me. And Restore Me surprised me and Kenji was as lovely in it but it’s a hard act to follow after book three!
I typically enjoy reading dual POVs but I think this book really weakened my view of Warner (Aaron). Aaron has been such a strong, generally unfeeling character. Juliette is the crack in his armor, but hearing his perspective really made him seem weak.
The book does a great job at developing Warner's character, their relationship, and everyone's past. It has a twist I do t think I was ready for. This was a slower book…. But the ending…
