Bedroom Max: A Short Story by Rupert Dreyfus

If you aren't from the UK, I would recommend looking up "bedroom tax UK" before you start reading if you don't already know what it is. I was confused at first because I didn't understand the context. I found http://www.bromford.co.uk/customer-area/my-money/changes-to-benefits/bedroom-tax/ to be helpful.
Once I sorted that out, I was back-on-track to enjoy Rupert's snarky and subversive humor. "Bedroom Max" is the type of political satire I've come to expect from him. However, this time, the protagonist is not a hero we root for, but a far-too-familiar moron to laugh at. I loved the ending.
