Perfect Little Children by Sophie Hannah

2.0

I don’t really like writing reviews of books that aren’t exactly my favorite. The talent to write a book is something I definitely don’t have so I have to give credit to those that have the creativity to do it. But this particular story just wasn’t my thing. The plot sounds exciting and that’s what drew me in. Beth hasn’t seen a former friend in 12 years and when she gets the opportunity to do a little stalking and drive past her house she sees something that couldn’t possibly be real. She sees her friend taking her children out of the car and they look exactly the same as they did 12 years earlier. They haven’t aged at all. This starts Beth on a mission to find out what is going on. The set-up sounds amazing and it did keep me reading because I wanted to find out what was happening but the reveal was too unbelievable for me. It just did not seem plausible. The writing was great and I know many people who love Sophie Hannah thrillers. This just wasn’t my favorite.
