I usually 💕love💕 Taylor Jenkins Reid's books (I've read the 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo and One True Loves).

But if I'm being honest I was kind of disappointed in this one (not that it wasn't good, tjr writing skills are always through the roof) but I didn't connect with the characters and the format (interviews) was not something I enjoyed. I had an hard time picturing the story in my head which led me feeling very frustrated and made me not connect with the character as much as I did with her other work.

Seeing how the book was praised by the entire book community and having loved the two first books I read, I think I went into this book with way too high expectations and being difficult for me to connect with it, I couldn't really appreciate it as much as I thought I would.

Nonetheless, the plot of the book was good and the ideas and subjects developed in this book have been made in a good way.
