I kinda liked the book and the world building of it. i think it may be one of my favourite parts. Although,  Maddox character was enticing, the introduction of Reyes
made me more interested in his potential story with Danika. something about him being the bearer of pain is interesting to potentially read and explore
. Ashley makes some dumb ass decisions and makes me iffy about the insta-love between the two. Like, I don't hate since it is the premise of the story, but I don't like it either. Both of these characters are 2 dimensional and i just wish we spent more time in the development of their personalities and story,
but I get why not because Maddox does die at midnight everyday so I can understand the swiftness of the plot line. Also, why are so many things happening at within 3-4 days??? Like we could have introduced Aeron's part in the story by the second or third book since the second book on Lucien and Anya and not Reyes and Danika, the plot could have worked with just the hunters as the villain and only mentions the Titans as a potential  bigger villain at the end of the book.
