Age of Myth
by Michael J. Sullivan
When I say I drank this book like it's a golden cup of water and I, a parched traveller, just belive me. I needed this book. I had to meet MJS, his incredible writing, and his characters that were made of flesh and blood. I could read the events bleed through the book, each decision, each idea come to life so realistically, I don't think I can point out a single thing that I was disappointed in this entire novel. It is, in my opinion, a perfect book, the kind that I reserve a place for only a few among countless that I love. I can't predict how the rest of the series is going to pan out, I'm not sure if the same format can be projected far into 5 other books but I cannot image not enjoying them with a premise like this. Too good. Although it took me more than a single day to devour the book, that in no way can be attributed to its lack of finely tuned pace, as that would be a complete lie. It took time, and I enjoyed every second. Age of Myth showed me once again why I love fantasy so much.
