I enjoyed this. I found it a bit less propulsive because you already know a bit too much, even though that's the conceit of the story. . . you know that there was a tragedy and that you're exploring it in these interviews and similar epistolary formats. That got me interested, but I didn't feel like it was pulling me along, because you're basically finding out details of what you already know instead of having a mystery that's keeping you going. And no, it's not in the mystery genre. It's just that having some mystery or thing to find out is kind of at the heart of fiction. (There are some interesting things you discover about characters near the end, but you don't really know you're looking for those!) So four stars is maybe generous, but it's above a three for enjoyment.
