I love a great standalone fantasy novel to recommend to my readers. Sometimes when readers are new to a genre, the idea of diving into a long series or even a short one, can be overwhelming. Having an excellent standalone fantasy to recommend to readers is great, especially when it introduces readers to a heritage they might be unfamiliar with since it is not their own.
