Human Acts by Han Kang

5.0

This is a relatively short book, but I took quite long to finish it. This was a difficult read for me, what with the depressing subject matter and the writing style. It might be because this was translated from Korean, but I found the writing style to be long-winded and confusing at times that I have to go back to reread some parts. It's still a really good book, though. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in the Gwangju Uprising.
