How Not to Fall in Love, Actually by Catherine Bennetto

2.0

this book is crowded and so busy trying to be everything that it ended up being all over the place. having too many characters in your story could only work if you know how to write them into an ensemble and work it into the main character's story without stealing the spotlight from your heroine.
sadly in this one, despite spending every chapter with the heroine and almost 80% of the book was dedicated to her 'journey', by the end i thought that she was flatly written and having two secondary characters had more colors in their characterization really does not bode well.
also i was sorely disappointed by the very minimal romance because strangers-housemate-friends-lovers arc is one of my fave!
