(CAWPILE:  6.0, 3 stars, but I added another 0.5 for the moments I laughed out loud in the middle of the night)

It was funny. It was short. It was hot. I'd definitely recommend it to someone who loves romance books (although my guess would be they've already read it, I can see why the book was so popular when it came out). There were a few things, however, that don't let me rate it full 5 stars.

Firstly, despite how fun and funny the main characters were, all 3 of them read like the same person. Sometimes it was difficult to distinguish between Nora's and Charlie's lines when pages were heavy with dialogue, I kept losing track of who was speaking, because they had the same tone. Nora and Charlie complimenting each other's brains seemed like they were just patting themselves on the back for being so witty. Opposite magnets where, Nora? You're the same person!

Another thing is that the only real intrigue throughout the whole story was
Libby. Is she gravely ill? Is she leaving her husband?
The answer to "
Will Nora and Charlie end up together?
" was, well, very obvious, not much intrigue there, especially with
Nora comparing him with the feral cat from Dusty's book, who did indeed come back
.

And my last criticism is about the description of whatever Charlie's face was going through at any given moment. If a pout could be pouting, he'd be doing that. I just think that if a person has naturally full lips, the writer doesn't have to mention the pouting all the damn time, like, we get it, he's got lips, cool!

Overall, it's still a very fun read, I just wish the characters had more varied personalities.
