This book is so good! I love the book along with the musical. Both are fantastic. Except for a person who's lived for 100 years asking a 10 year old to marry him once she turns 17. He was physically 17, but it was still a little creepy.

Man, I really needed to read this book again. I've been reading a lot of very dense books - series with books over 300 pages at least - and I really needed something sweet, short, and simple. I love this book so much. It just makes you feel. Happy, sad, melancholic. This is such a good book, and a beautiful example of what a story can make you feel, and what people can do with words. Seriously, read this book.

Still great as ever. Perfect book to end of 2021 with.
