Pulse – Vital Signs Series
by Judy G. Walters
This book was like watching an episode of ER (which I recently binge watched again!)
Dr. Jackson works in the ER. One day, his world is turned upside down and he becomes a bit broken. He moves to a new hospital and keeps his family life a secret from everyone there.
His wife is horrible and hates him and his only bright spots are his daughter BJ and his fellow ER doctors and nurses. (One of which he plays a game of chess with-a move a shift.)
I would want to be treated by Dr Jackson if I needed it. He's such a kind man. I love the supporting characters Elizabeth and Sergei. What Dr Jackson does for Sergei in the end is so wonderful and made me tear up.
This was a fabulous start to what I think is going to be a great series!
