Love & Other Words is a sweet, dual timeline/second chance romance read.
I wasn’t a big fan of most of the plot being centered on Macy and Elliot as teenagers, the fact that Elliot isr@ped with very little acknowledgement after its reveal, and Elliot’s yearning seeming almost unbelievable at times. It read like he knew he was a “book boyfriend” that was being perceived by an invisible audience.
I probably would have rated this higher when I was younger.
