Cute. Fun. Easy read. Wormholes in IKEA. The novella length means we don’t linger long, which means it’s a pretty fast read. It does feel like it lacks depth, but willing to forgive given it’s only 100 or so pages.
It’s very character driven, so you’ll either ride along with Ava and Jules or not. I didn’t findtheir potential rebudding of their relationship all that romantic. They don’t seem /that/ compatible. However, I did just enjoy them as individual characters.
Occasionally bits of dialogue felt a little clunky, and it was more telling than showing, but it was fun nonetheless. Wormholes in IKEA, who knew?
