This read was very well timed in regards to the election. If you are feeling down about the USA, I recommend reading this. One of my favorite books growing up was about a fictional first daughter (can’t remember what it was called) and this is kind of a much more grown up version of it. A little mystery, challenges of being in the spotlight, and politics are all topics featured in both. RW&RB also deals with identity and forbidden love. There is quite a bit of spice, so if you aren’t for that be warned.
Graphic: Homophobia, Grief, Death of parent, Outing
Moderate: Addiction
Minor: Cancer
