The Custom of the Country by Edith Wharton
4.0

I get chills after reading anything by Edith Wharton. She gets me everytime. I think she just might be my favorite author.

A tale of a woman who goes through life just taking, taking, wanting, taking more and demanding, demanding, demanding. But it's riveting!

No doubt, Wharton new people like the main character Undine Spragg in her real life aristocratic circles.
