Find Her by Lisa Gardner

The writing is just eh. Some chapters read effortlessly, while others are composed of lazy sentence fragments or information you’ve been given multiple times already. You can tell it’s someone’s 20th book under a deadline, not some grand idea they’ve spent years agonizing over the details of. Still, the story as a whole is better than other female-authored murder/rape/stalking/kidnapping/crime books I’ve read, and I appreciate the author opting not to include unnecessary rape scenes.

I’d read more of her books, though it’s not likely I’ll seek them out. And I’ll return this one to the Little Free Library where I found it.
