This continues the journey of Coyote and her father Rodeo processing their grief of losing the rest of their family. They have settled into a home but with the closure of schools due to Covid, they embark upon a new adventure in their bus to spread her mother's ashes. Along the way they pick up a crew of unique and hurting humans, and end up helping each other heal.
This touched on some very modern realities of the pandemic and how life shifted for everyone in obvious ways like distancing and masking, but also the impact of racism towards Asians in America and the grief of those who lost loved ones in isolation.
