I have no idea why it took me so long to finally read this book. Interesting take on ghouls. Saiman was a big disappointment. I hope she makes him regret what he said. The medical issue she had was worrying and I wonder if there will be future issues from it. Loved this book!

I love this series, and it looks like this one is going to be a nice change from Curran being hands-tied by politics. Technically they are still dealing with politics, especially with the case Kate took in chapter 2. But their personal lives are their own.
