This was absolutely phenomenal. The plot was plotting. The characters are so layered and it was so interesting watching them evolve. Nobody is a good person here and I love to see it. 🤭 Kidan and Susenyos??!! Watching two morally grey characters who genuinely detest each other turn into reluctant allies? Absolutely beautiful.🤌🏾Their chemistry? The tension? The angst? The writing? Spectacular! I’ve never experienced something like this before. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.😭
