Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History by Bill Schutt

challenging dark funny informative medium-paced

5.0

I absolutely LOVED this book. Cannibalism is a really interesting topic to me and has always been, so I came in with great expectations and Schutt completely exceeded them. The book is funny, dark and informative all at once; I learned so much about cannibalism in the animal kingdom and about cases of cannibalism in the human world, while Schutt clearly took care and respect into account, avoiding to go into cases that had been so greatly sensationalized like the Meiwes case.
