I read the 1st edition, and there’s something fascinating about reading a book and immediately being able to understand why the series creator demanded that an edited version be reprinted. This book was great, and really explores an insane amount of emotional intimacy between jim and spock.
Moderate: Medical content, Violence, Drug use, Sexual assault, Injury/Injury detail, Slavery, Drug abuse, Bullying, and Alcohol
Minor: War, Sexual assault, Torture, and Sexual content
Mild to moderate sexual assault warning for coercion. spock is super uncomfortable with the romulan praetor forcing herself on him during his ponn farr, but ultimately acquiesces due to his only alternative option being Death. he’s mentioned in the following scene to be nervous and uncomfortable in her presence.
