Probably should be 5 stars but as Butcher has thoroughly torn my heart out, i feel i have earned the right to be petty

and Murphy deserved so much better

. This book left changes in the dust as far as big shifts and that is represented with parallels between the two books that started from the very first line on Peace talks. as much as i don't like change i am eager to see where the series goes next

but honestly if this was all an excuse for a Molly/Lara love triangle i might actually be done... Murph was so much more than a love interest she was the happily ever after and again she deserved better.

. That being said i am almost happy that i will need to wait a (hopefully just a little) while, to give my heart a chance to heal.
