Like I Needed by Charlie Novak

How I loved these two men. Will is a stressed out gruff but charming farmer with no time for anything else but work. Jamie is a trust fund city boy who lives a hedonistic lifestyle but is looking for something more.
This leads him to Heather Bay and after settling into his hotel he makes his way to the local pub and hooks up with Will for a very steamy encounter. The chemistry between them is absolutely sizzling and after a push from meddling friends, Will and Jamie get together again, and again, and again.
It’s a joy watching Will slowly fall in love with his ‘posh boy’ and how his insightful comments help Jamie find purpose in his life. A purpose that has him falling for his ‘farm boy’, the farm and Heather Bay. There’s no dramatic moments or upheavals as they work towards their HEA, just the logistics of two people falling in love, living together and surviving lambing season in winter!
This is a beautifully written romance with plenty of heat, a great cast of main and secondary characters and a happy ending that warmed my heart.
This can be read as a standalone but reading the previous books in the series would enhance the experience.
