Chimes at Midnight by Seanan McGuire

I feel like this one was less exciting than the previous books in the series, even though with the politics, it had a lot more potential to be layered. Will continue with series, but hope there's more depth.

Also, I want more challenges to Toby and Tybalt's relationship. He's turned into a complete milksop. I'm sure some readers like the solid, committed, relationship, but it's boring. I want tension. After it's beyond "will they/won't they?" it should progress to "can they?" and outside pressure should complicate the relationship. At least this is how I like my urban fantasy.
