If you're a Harry Potter fan, I would absolutely recommend this book! I know I'm a little late to the party, but if you happen to be like me and haven't read this yet...do it. I really don't think you'll regret it.
I'm not sure what I expected from "Beyond the Wand," but a funny, inspirational, and refreshingly reflective account of Tom Felton's life and career was, for whatever reason, not it. It was incredibly easy to read, perhaps in large part to the personal feel that made me surprisingly invested in an actor that, while I admired, didn't really have me eager for his autobiography.
The one neutral aspect of this book is that I do think it would be easiest to understand and enjoy as someone with a passing knowledge of the Harry Potter franchise. But I can't say that non-fans wouldn't enjoy it, because it's that good.
