Slow and boring. Nothing happens until halfway through, and when it does, it’s not enough. While the observations on our dying planet and humans’ contempt for nature were valid and interesting, I found the rest pretentious and annoying.
The ending was silly – far-fetched and overly contrived. For me, it perfectly captured the vibe of the entire novel: meh.
