I absolutely loved this book. It was a different direction from that of a typical kidnapping story and I believe this could help so many kids who are dealing with PTSD/trauma. The two voices of the victim and then a victim’s family member made the story really round out because you see how PTSD and trauma doesn’t just affect the victim - it affects everyone around them. It didn’t take me long at all to finish because I was that invested.
