Everything For You was exactly what I’ve come to expect from the Bergman Brothers series - sweet, silly, and full of heart.

Best part of this book - Uncle Ollie! Linnie, Oliver’s niece, is SO CUTE and reminded me so much of my youngest cousin. But yes girl, I’m also hungry for guacamole and cake all day every day!

Next best part of this book - the buddy love and respect between Oliver and Gavin. The moments of emotional intimacy were so lovely, and I really wanted more of them. Maybe more of the time that got montaged over, maybe more before the third act, but more would have been nice. I felt like the amount of page time we had with them wasn’t quite enough to be dropping “I love you” yet, and that made me a little bummed because another scene or two and I would have been there!

As always, the Bergman Brothers series beautifully deals with mental health struggles, and this was no exception. I knew exactly how those panic attacks would feel, and believed every second of them. I loved the grounding, and the squeezes, and the focus on the external senses so much! The authenticity readers that Chloe Liese worked with obviously did a great job, and Liese herself put lots of love and care into the anxiety representation.

Read this book if you love
🩵 sports romance
🩶 Ted Lasso
🩵 big, meddlesome families
🩶 poker

I’ll definitely be reading the last two books soon!
