An interesting book with lovely art.
The early scenes explicitly referencing Covid-19 were jarring and off-putting, but once the story moves on, things quickly pick up from there. Much like the twins, readers are thrown into the events without much explanation, and the pieces tend to fall into place after the characters push through some gory and emotionally trying events. It's a bit chaotic, but satisfying, and I'm curious to see where The Night Eaters will go after that last reveal.
