I really like the idea of the story and the main characters - I just wish that we could have gotten a bit more backstory on them.
The way Adam and Parker met has been great - being pissed off on each other and then having to run and survive together while the Zombie apocalypse is happening. I liked that part a lot. Later on, that Zombie apocalypse feeling got a bit overshadowed by the sex scenes. Yes, some of them have been hot but for me personally? I wish some of them would have been skipped so that we could have had more survival stuff/backstory in the book.
During the story, there have been hints at the past of both characters but we only got hints, in case of Parker more than Adam. I wanted more so that I could better understand some of the reactions of them.
There are also some questions on my side, like, how did they get the Creepers into "The Pines"? How does the Werewolf thing work? When the infection can only be transfered via bodily fluids (and that is what I take away from the book), how could it have spread so fast and in so many cities at the same time?
I'm also a bit "Hmmmm" at the ending for personal quirks reasons - it's not a 100% Happy End. :/
Other than that? I had fun reading this story. :)
